Well, I know I haven't posted a blog post since I started the blog. Unfortunately things happen that get in the way. I have been in the process of moving within the past month and I am still without internet. The only reason I can even do this blog post is because I am tethering off of my boyfriend's phone right now. But the move has been for the better. We have moved to a bigger house so that gives a lot more room for our family. Ultimately, that is the best.
Moving on to what I want this blog to contain. I made Chicken Cordon Bleu for my family last night. This is the first time I attempted it and the only reason I gave it a try is because my friend Jamie did a video on making it, and it looked good so I gave it a go! It was a
huge hit amongst my boyfriend and daughter! Which is mostly surprising because my daughter is quite the picky little eater, but almost anything to do with chicken she adores. Luckily, she liked the Chicken Cordon Bleu a lot! Here is a picture of the food, it is not the best picture but I intend on doing a lot better pictures in the future!
I was very glad that it was such a success. You see the green in them? I added some jalapenos to my boyfriend's because he likes things spicy. :) Ultimately, I was very glad with how they turned out and my boyfriend made the comment that it was something that he felt he would have eaten on a nice restaurant! I think that is a damn good compliment if I do say so myself. Secretly I have always wanted to have my own restaurant or bakery. Is that silly? Maybe, but I just really adore cooking!
